Music makes the world go round

Have you ever sat down and wondered what the world would be like without music? I believe that music is definately one of the world's favourite pastimes. As humans we are naturally born as musical beings. Whilst we are in our mothers womb we become accustomed to the heart beat. We all have musical and rythmical intelligence, even those who say they cannot hold a tune. We are currently living in a world where beat and rythm is a part of our lives. Life without music would be totally boring. Music keeps you going and prevents boredom as it passes time.

Listening to good music will help you attain self improvement and it will also help you have a better quality of life. It is calming and makes you feel comfortable. Music can also be used for motivation. When you are doing assignments, working in the office or even spring cleaning your home, after turning on some good music you won't feel the strain. The music will actually keep you going. Music makes you feel happy and relaxed. When listening to stimulating music one would tend to become very relaxed. It can also be used to stimulate creativity. Many individuals are aware that music tunes the brain to higher planes of thinking.

Therefore, life without music would definately be null and void. Music definately makes the world go round.

Everyday is a good day

Each and every single day that we live to see is a good day. It is all up to us to make the most of each day. When we wake up in the morning we should motivate ourselves to make sure that we enjoy the current day which we are about to face. We need to open our eyes and take note of and appreciate the beauty and pleasures that are out there, which which we are so used to seeing on a daily basis. Each day we come across beauty in various forms and shapes. Many people have become so accustomed to this beauty that it largely goes unappreciated, this is a huge shame. Take time out and appreaciate the beautiful things that surrounds you daily and realise what makes them so unique.

We shouldn't be too busy to laugh, or even be to serious or aggitated to smile. Instead, we should surround ourselves with exciting people and we should not get caught up in our own sense of importance. If we slow down for just a few minutes and take some time out to appreciate ordinary events, every day will instantly become a good, enjoyable day.
Another important aspect to take note of is the fact that it is our relationships with people that give us the most happiness in life. Therefore, one of the best ways to enjoy each day is to build rewarding relationships with people.

Striving to learn something new each day is also very important. There is a strong link between learning and happiness. It is also very important to celebrate our successess. Each day we are sure to have some minor or even not so minor successes. So why not take a moment to celebrate your success? Reward yourself and share the experience with someone else. By remaining positive and doing these few small things your mindset will change. And everyday will indeed be a good day!

The attitude of our hearts

The way in which we react to what happens to us determines our lives. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts and outcomes. What life throws at us is not important, the attitude which we bring to life and face life with is what is important. This is what initiates and creates remarkable results. Therefore, the attitude of our hearts is an important aspect. Having a positive attitude is essential.

Each one of us has been given a wonderful gift, and that very special gift is life itself. We need to make the most of life. We need to make the most of every situation, strive to overcome any challenge and possess a positive attitude. Exercising kindness in our hearts towards others is important. As individuals we should treat others with respect. Many people seem to have difficulty in doing so.

Not too long ago I read an article which stated that researchers found that people who have a positive attitude during stressful events are 22% less likely to have a fatal or nonfatal heart attack. This proves that positivity prevents heart failure. As individuals we should truly strive to have a heart that is overflowing with positivity.

"Why I have conversations"

We have various ways of communicating with each other on a daily basis. There are also many different tools which we can make use of in order to have meaningful conversations with each other. Conversations that can inspire us, create excitement, encourage us and maybe occasionally upset us. After having a proper conversation many of us could say: " I had a meaningful conversation today and as a result of that conversation I feel so much better. I listened and learnt something which I was unaware of before."

Conversations plays a very big role in my daily life. Having conversations daily is essential. We can learn so much as individuals from the people we converse with. Having conversations with others helps me experience the joy of sharing and connecting with people in an amazing way. Now a days there are many different ways in which we are able to converse with one another. We are able to have conversations online. Being able to chat online with a range of people and share my thoughts and ideas is definitely a bonus.

I firmly believe that good conversation is an important skill in almost every situation. Whether it is at work, with a close friend, in everyday life or in a social setting, having a good conversation is essential.
Conversing with others is the way I communicate and is the way I am perceived by others. I also realise that in order for me to have a really good conversation with another individual I need to be sensitive and attentive to the other party.

"If I were the boss"

If I were the boss I would lead by example. I'd treat others the way I would like to be treated. Instead of releasing all my stress, anger and personal issues out at work I would deal with it in an appropriate manner. If I were the boss I would strive to make life easier for less fortunate employees. I would make room for growth by granting each employee with the opportunity to increase their knowledge, abilities and skills. I would see that things run smoothly by ensuring that my employees are up to standard. Life would be much more pleasant for many individuals, if I were the boss.

"Is polygamy a feminist issue?"

Polygammy is currently one of the most talked about issues in South Africa thanks to our president. It is degrading to woman and robs them from their independance. It is all about power, the more wives a male has, the more power he possesses. Polygamy is male dominant and is therefore a sexest issue. If a woman were to have more than one husband she would be judged and perceived negatively. Therefore, polygamy is indeed a feminist issue.
